MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO) -- Dakota Wesleyan scored on the game's opening kickoff and rallied for a 16-14 win over rival Dakota State Saturday night in Mitchell. Steven Christio ran the opening kickoff back 95 yards.

DSU responded as Raesean Eaton connected with Trajan Davis for the 20-yard TD midway through the first quarter. DWU retook the lead when Jed Jenson hit Sean DeBlieck for a touchdown in the final minute of the first. Eaton pulled off a 30-yard run to make it a one-point game in the third. Danny Carsrud kicked a 41-yard field goal in the fourth that went on to be the game-winner.

The Tigers visit Dordt next week, and the Trojans host Nebraska Wesleyan.
