Boise man’s sponge record adds to his quirky achievements

BOISE, Idaho – An Idaho man set a new world record by taking 96 wet sponges to the face in one minute.

David “Record Breaker” Rush, a Boise native known for his unusual record-breaking feats, recently accomplished this impressive feat.

Rush is not new to holding the world record in this category. He initially set the record with 92 sponges in one minute.

When another competitor managed to take 93 sponges, Rush decided to reclaim his title.
