WILMINGTON – Mike Lemon’s St. Elizabeth Vikings had never played in Week 0 prior to Aug. 30. He called it the "great unknown."

But his team responded well after an interception on its first drive to take a halftime lead. Then the Vikings pulled away, holding First State Military Academy scoreless in the second half on the way to a 36-18 victory at Abessinio Stadium.
