After a dry start to the holiday weekend, rain chances leap up to a 60% of scattered storms Sunday.
As a stalling frontal boundary sinks deeper into the area today, an unsettled weather pattern will support greater rain chances with moisture being funneled in from the Gulf throughout Sunday. Downpours and storms will focus along the coast and drift inland throughout the day.
Expect partly-to-mostly cloudy skies when dry and below-average high temperatures near 88°.
Although rain chances decrease to only a 40% chance of scattered storms Monday, a low-end 1/4 risk for flooding exists for the entire Bay Area Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
