FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Charlotte FC was on the road Saturday, taking on the New England Revolution and a plan to extend its win streak .

Spoiler alert: they extended the win streak to eight victories while sporting the new bright neon-yellow polo-style jerseys.

Midfielder Brandt Bronico got the black and blue on the board early, kicking in a goal at the 12-minute mark. But New England midfielder Ignatius Ganago had an answer 12 minutes later, with an assist from forward Leonardo Campana. Aside from Charlotte midfielders Ashley Westwood, Eryk Williamson, and Wilfried Zaha receiving yellow cards, not much else happened, leaving both teams tied after the first half.

After the break, Bronico was given his own yellow card, as was striker Idan Toklomati.
