7. Brett Favre

Drafted in the second round (33rd overall) by the Atlanta Falcons in 1991 out of Southern Mississippi, Favre saw limited action as a rookie before being traded to the Green Bay Packers, where he revitalized the franchise.

Over 16 seasons with the Packers, Favre led them to 11 playoff appearances, including a Super Bowl XXXI victory in 1997, where he threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-21 win over the New England Patriots.

He earned three consecutive NFL MVP awards from 1995-1997, becoming the first to do so, and set records for most career touchdown passes (508) and passing yards (71,838) at retirement, though later surpassed.

His 2009 season with the Minnesota Vikings was a resurgence, throwing for 4,202 yard
