The 9U Soo Black Sox are competing for championship glory along with 12 other Ontario teams as they host the provincial championships this weekend at Sinclair Yards. On Saturday, the Sox advanced to the next round following a 5-1 win over Sudbury. The club also triumphed 4-1 over Midland and 18-7 against Richmond Hill. The team's only defeat at time of press came in a 14-10 loss to Newmarket. The tournament concludes on Sunday evening.
