Family left without income after father injured in Rehoboth Beach surf

A Newark family is struggling after father Matt Murray suffered a spinal cord injury in the surf in Rehoboth Beach Aug. 23.

While the 39-year-old Murray was initially paralyzed, he has since regained function in his limbs but still doesn't have full use of his hands, wife Nichole Murray, 33, said. He drives for Uber and Lyft, she said, so the use of his hands is critical.
