WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Congress returns to Capitol Hill while President Donald Trump hosts the new President of Poland.

With the August recess ending, Congress is back in session Tuesday with less than a month to avoid a potential government shutdown. With the current fiscal year set to end at the end of September, Congress must pass spending legislation to keep the government open.

Wednesday, President Donald Trump is hosting new Polish President Karol Nawrocki. Trump supported the new president’s campaign earlier this year, hosting the then-candidate at the White House in May.
