For openers, No. 17 Florida football played a clean game and made some dynamic plays in its 55-0 season-opening win over LIU before 89,451 at The Swamp on Aug. 30.

The Florida Gators (1-0) had no penalties and turnovers, while adding two takeaways on defense that led to 14 UF points.

"The crowd was definitely a factor," Florida football coach Billy Napier said. "Guys fed a off of it early and certainly a lot of positives out there tonight. I think there's also some things we need to clean up, a little more crisp, a little more detail."
