SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

The annual Stockton Labor Day Community Pow Wow took place at the University of the Pacific Saturday, bringing people together to experience music, food, and dance in a free event.

This year's powwow was special, with two children taking part in a ceremonial dance that introduced them to the powwow circle.

The event continues Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. This marks the 44th year of the event.
