Highs in the valley will climb to the mid-90s under a few clouds. Afternoon temperatures will reach the low 90s in the foothills, while daytime highs in the Sierra will be in the mid-70s. Isolated storms will linger in the Sierra, with activity increasing this afternoon, especially south of Tahoe. Lightning, thunder, gusty winds, and the potential for fire spread remain concerns near storms.
