A patrol deputy observed a man attempting to get onto a motorcycle while appearing intoxicated early Saturday morning.

The man has been identified as 35-year-old Justin Johnson from Fernley, Nevada.

When deputies approached Johnson, they questioned him on scene. Deputies also say he was uncooperative. While speaking to him, they smelt marijuana.

Johnson then fled the deputies, giving him several warnings to stop. Deputies then deployed tasers, while jumping a fence.

Deputies then arrested Johnson. While conducting a search, they located marijuana in his pocket, with a large of amount of methamphetamine.

Johnson was transported to the Lyon County Jail.

Upon arrival to the jail, the marijuana was weighed and found to be 31.7 grams.

The methamphetamine was weighed and found to be 1.49
