A Massachusetts man has turned himself in to authorities in Scituate, Massachusetts, in connection with the killing of a Portland man.
Christopher Caron, 42, was arrested and charged with murder in the death of 27-year-old Declan Perry, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz and Scituate Police Chief Mark Thompson said Saturday.
According to a social media post from the district attorney’s office, Caron turned himself in Saturday afternoon, and was booked and taken to the Plymouth House of Correction. His arraignment is set for Tuesday.
The owners of The Grill Room & Bar in Portland said in a phone call Tuesday that Perry was the restaurant’s head chef.
