Southern’s top wide receiver told his coaches and his quarterback, Cam’Ron McCoy, that if a Mississippi Valley State cornerback pressed him, throw it his way and he would come down with the football.

Morris’ opportunity arrived a minute before halftime on 1st and 10 at MVSU’s 35-yard line and he delivered on his promise Saturday at Rice-Totten Stadium in Itta Bena, Miss.
