Princess Diana’s death doesn’t get easier for her brother, Charles Spencer.

On Sunday, Spencer, 61, brought flowers to his late sister’s burial site in England in honor of the 28th anniversary of her death .

Spencer posted an Instagram photo of the bouquet of white and pink roses, followed by a picture of the private island where Diana is buried at Althorp Gardens, the Spencer family’s estate in West Northamptonshire, England. 10

“Flowers we cut this morning from Althorp’s gardens for the Island,” Spencer wrote in his caption.

“Always an impossible day,” he added.

Diana died on Aug. 31, 1997 in a car crash in Paris. She was 36. 10
