KINGSTON, N.Y. — The city’s waterfront was bustling on Sunday as the Hooley on the Hudson, a festival celebrating Irish-American culture and history, marked its 25th anniversary.

Sponsored by the Ulster County Ancient Order of the Hibernians, the festival featured a jam-packed day of live performances, activities, and local vendors selling Irish-themed gifts and goodies.

Festivalgoers also enjoyed clear skies and warm weather this year, a welcome change from the clouds and light rain at last year’s event.

This year’s Hooley offered three different performance venues: The Bill Yosh Stage, which hosted the festival’s opening ceremony; the Feeney Stage; and “Craic in the Barn,” a more intimate area in the Hudson River Maritime Museum’s barn on Rondout Landing. Some of the highlights includ
