Following three consecutive months of above-average rainfall, August across much of Pennsylvania will be remembered for how dry it was.

With no rain forecast on Sunday, it’s safe to take a look at the rainfall totals for the month, per the National Weather Service (NWS).

Here’s a look at a few of the state’s cities, including the amount in August, the average for the month, and the day the most rain fell.

Harrisburg, 1.50 inches, 3.65 avg., .96 on Aug 20

Williamsport, 1.40 inches, 4.04 avg., .85 on Aug. 24

Lancaster, 2.73 inches, 3.40 avg., 1.70 on Aug. 13

York, 1.37 inches, 3.64 avg., .95 on Aug. 14

State College, 1.07 inches, 4.16 avg., .52 on Aug. 21

Wilkes Barre/Scranton, 1.67 inches, 3.74 avg., .68 on Aug. 13

Reading, 1.72 inches, 4.35 avg., 1.13 on Aug. 15
