HUNTINGTON, Texas (KETK) - The City of Huntington in Angelina County has issued a boil water notice after an eight-inch water main broke on Saturday.
The water main break has caused the city's water system pressure to fall below 20 psi, requiring them to issue a boil water notice for customers on the system. Anyone under the boil water notice should bring any water for cleaning or consumption to a vigorous rolling boil for at least two minutes before use.
The Huntington Police Department said the boil water notice will be needed until a clean water sample is returned on Tuesday.
