GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The New York State Fair drew its biggest crowd of 2024 on the final Sunday of the fair, with more than 108,000 people coming through the gates that day.
The final Saturday of this year's event drew 100,000 people, at least 50k more people than the final Saturday of the Fair last year.
These aren't record numbers, which can be viewed here on the Fair's website, but the final Sunday of the fair drew large crowds again this year.
Sunday's weather drew large lines of people outside the gates, and large crowds inside the far too.
Some families brought their kids to the fair solely to see Blippi. Parents found a spot at Chevy court as early as an hour and a half before the Blippi concert, hoping to get a good view.
"It's our family's first time coming at all," said
