LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - On and off showers/rain continue as we enter the month of September, but this dreary weather fortunately does not last all week.

Let’s start off with skycast once again. The vast majority of precipitation will not come to an end until late Monday afternoon/early into the evening. Small rain chances, however, continue into Tuesday.

How much more rain could we see in the next 24 hours? Rainfall totals over 1″ are still possible in eastern Nebraska.

Moving on to our high temperatures, mid 60s to upper 70s are likely on Monday.

By Tuesday, we warm into the mid 70s to mid 80s.

Low to mid 70s are forecast for the rest of the week while a higher chance for showers and maybe even a few storms returns on Wednesday.
