STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. -- Evacuations are in place for two large wildfires burning near Northport, Washington on Sunday afternoon, according to Stevens County Emergency Management.

On August 29, firefighters responded to a wildfire burning about 12 miles south of Northport, also known as the "Crown Creek Fire." As of Sunday, the fire is burning at 1,139 acres, or roughly 1.7-square miles.

Just northwest of the fire, another fire, known as the "Blackhawk Mountain Fire" is burning at 55-acres.

Both fires are also burning near a third fire known as the "Johnson Grade Fire."

As of Sunday afternoon, Level 3 (GO NOW), Level 2 (GET SET) and Level 1 (GET READY) evacuations are in place for the surrounding areas. Click here for the latest evacuation map .
