A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash that killed a motorcyclist in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
The crash occurred at about 9 p.m. Saturday at 11th Street and Redondo Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
A 2010 KTM motorcycle was going southbound on Redondo when it collided with a 2006 Toyota Sequoia that was going eastbound on 11th Street, police said.
The SUV driver, identified as Frank Andrade Jr., remained at the scene and cooperated with police, and was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. Bail for the 33-year-old Long Beach resident was set at $101,781.
