It was a win that didn’t arrive as easily as the others so far this season. But it was a comeback the Colorado women’s soccer team will gladly take.
After surrendering a goal just moments after the opening kickoff, the Buffaloes used a pair of second-half goals to maintain their unbeaten start to the season, rallying past Wyoming for a 2-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at Prentup Field.
The victory gives CU an unbeaten mark (5-0-1) through its season-opening, six-game homestand. It was a milestone win for the Buffs, as it notched the 300th win in program history while giving head coach Danny Sanchez his 150th win at CU.
