Liverpool have agreed a £130m deal to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle United on transfer deadline day, according to reports.

Isak is set for a medical at Liverpool on Monday before the summer window closes at 7pm with a British record move set to be completed.

Both The Telegraph and football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano have reported that the deal has been agreed in what will end the biggest transfer saga of the summer window, with personal terms already sorted.

Isak has made no secret of his desire to leave Newcastle for Liverpool and the Reds have long been keen to bring the striker to Anfield.

Liverpool’s first offer of £110m was rejected by Newcastle – and it was previously thought that the Magpies would only let him go for £150m.
