OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) -- Firefighters identify 72-year-old Paul Kamuf as the man killed in Thursday’s apartment fire in Owensboro.

Officials with the Owensboro Fire Department say crews were sent to the 3900 block of Evergreen Drive just before midnight on Thursday after a neighbor reported the fire.

Fire fighters say Kamuf was taken to a hospital in Louisville for burns where he died. No one else was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
