PRINCETON, Ind. (WEHT) -- Celebration is in the air as camp alumni and families from all over have gathered at the YMCA Camp Carson for its 85th birthday.
The event pulled in many alumni from different decades to share stories about their time at camp. It’s also the start of this year's labor day family camp program.
"This is a great event for us to reconnect with alumni,” Executive Director Jim Sexstone said. “We also have a family camp going on, so it's a lot of fun and just talk and hear stories and also counselors reconnecting over the years.
Sexstone has been the executive director for a while now and believes that there have been thousands of kids that have come through the camp over the years and have been greatly impacted by the camp. He says that there are opportunities that ar
