COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) -Brothers Bobby and Raleigh Jenkins are pedaling their way from Alaska to Texas, a 5,500-mile bike ride meant to honor family, raise money, and bring awareness to deeply personal causes.
Bobby Jenkins, owner and CEO of ABC Home & Commercial Services in Bryan & Austin, and his brother Raleigh, president of ABC Home & Commercial Services in Houston, began their trek in Anchorage, Alaska, on June 19. They plan to arrive in College Station on Sept. 6 in time for Texas A&M’s football game against Utah State.
“We just pulled into Snyder, Texas,” Bobby Jenkins said. “We left Anchorage on June 19th for this 5,500-mile journey back to College Station, and we’ve got two charities that we’re riding for. The why is the important part.”
