Dozens of families returned to the historic Altadena Town and Country Club Sunday for a celebration of resilience and the chance to reconnect with their neighbors.
Nearly nine months after the Eaton fire forced them to flee their community, the people of Altadena are back on common ground.

“It’s nice to see everyone who hasn’t seen us in a very long time," said 9-year-old Olivia.
The Altadena Town and Country Club founded in 1910, celebrated its grand re-opening months ahead of schedule after its historic clubhouse was destroyed by flames in January.
“Of course there’s more work ahead and construction but one thing is certain, this club is here to stay," said Judy Chu.
