A Colossal Potato: Along with our records of mammoth babies, monster cornstalks, overgrown rainstorms, prodigious beets, and other colossal productions of this section, we desire to mention an elephantine potato of the neshannock variety, on exhibition at our office, raised on the farm of Mr. Allen in the Floyd Valley. Its live weight is two pounds and three quarters, and its shape is something like a cactus plant.
