The man behind Football Manager has finally broken his silence on why the 2025 version was cancelled. Miles Jacobson and the Sports Interactive team sent the fanbase of the hugely popular football gaming series into meltdown last year when FM25 was cancelled shortly after being announced. ‌

Since then, there has been radio silence from the makers until recently when a trailer for FM26 dropped without warning. And now Miles has finally opened up about what led to the cancellation and why it was the right thing for the future of the franchise to do. ‌
