The last day of August brought more rain, ranging from 0.08” at Nokomis to 1.31” at SRQ. At SRQ, our August total is 12.86”.

Thunderstorm activity will be minimal for Labor Day Monday and Tuesday, picking up again Wednesday. By Friday, a cold front will drop south in Florida. That front will pull in drier air to end the week and have a much lower chance of thunderstorms.
