Isabella DeHerdt and Isaac Eliot, the folk-punk duo behind the band High Tea , are always singing.
“It’s probably a little obnoxious to anyone who’s not us,” DeHerdt joked in a recent interview with The Republican.
The duo first met at the Berklee College of Music summer program when they were 16 and quickly grew close. The COVID-19 pandemic struck while the two were living together in a small town in Western Massachusetts, and that provided the creative catalyst they needed to craft their first full-length album, “Hell of a Ride,” which they released in November 2020.
Since that time, the duo has released multiple EPs, including “Old Cowboy” in 2021 and “Suba Diving” in 2023. They were nominated for Best Americana Act in the 2023 New England Music Awards and performed at the Grassy H
