A child and a teenager were injured in two separate shootings late Sunday night and early Monday morning in Philadelphia, police said.

The first shooting occurred along the 800 block of Scattergood Street around 11 p.m. on Sunday. Police said a child suffered a graze wound and was taken to the hospital where they were placed in stable condition.

The second shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Monday along the 1500 block of Adams Avenue. Police said a 17-year-old was shot in the back. The teen was taken to the hospital and placed in stable condition.
