INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Transportation is giving truck drivers more options to take a break from multiple hours behind the wheel.

On I-65 north of Lebanon, there are new facilities where truck drivers can take advantage of 150 parking spaces between the northbound and southbound stops.

"This one's really nice," said Wayne Mouzon, a truck driver enroute to Minnesota from Ohio.

Mouzon took a break from his drive on Sunday at one of the new truck stops.

INDOT invested $37 million in the facilities. He said he appreciates that investment, and that it can help address a problem in the trucking industry.

"They need a lot more truck stops built for professional truck drivers cause we definitely have a shortage of parking spaces," Mouzon said.
