The tropical wave is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. The environmental conditions appear conducive for the system to continue developing at a slow pace.

According to the NHC, the system is expected to move westward to west-northwestward at around 15 mph across the eastern and central tropical Atlantic throughout the week.

A tropical depression is expected to form later this week or next week.

At this time, it's too early to determine what impacts, if any, this disturbance could cause.
