ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A suspect is in custody after three people were stabbed in Habersham County on Sunday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Just before 1 p.m., 911 dispatchers got a call about a fight outside on Canterberry Trail near Clarkesville, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office said.

As dispatchers were notifying deputies, they learned that multiple people had been stabbed, the sheriff’s office said.

Dispatchers then “reported that the male suspect was barricaded inside a camper on the property.”

Deputies arrived and found three victims with stab wounds. One victim was critically injured.
