Ridgefield Hardware has run its course, says owner, and will close after more than a century

Ridgefield Hardware & Gift is preparing to close its doors after more than a century operating in the once-rural small town.

The store, which opened at 104 N. Main Ave. in 1914, will close Sept. 30.
