HERMITAGE Crowds of people lined up along the parade route of the annual Buhl Day Parade Monday morning.

The celebration returned to Hermitage on Labor Day with live entertainment, a car show, fun, and food. The free community event runs until 6 p.m.

Buhl Day, which began in 1915, honors the philanthropic legacy of Frank H. Buhl. The event brings thousands of visitors to the park each Labor Day.

"Buhl Day is a reflection of everything our park stands for—community, tradition, and a welcoming space for all,” said Julie Eckenrod, Director of Marketing at Buhl Park. "Our Buhl Day Committee works hard to make this event come alive each year, and we look forward to celebrating together and creating lasting memories for families across the Shenango Valley and beyond."
