Washington Examiner chief political correspondent Byron York said a new ad targeting male voters ignores proper context, as it pulls data from when the Democratic Party controlled Congress and the White House .
The ad, paid for by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, claims that the Republican Party is making beer prices “soar” over Labor Day and encourages viewers to visit a website focusing on price hikes. The website , also paid for by the DCCC, allows users to shop for food items such as beer, cheese, and ground beef, and shows them how much prices have gone up “under GOP control.”
