A large area of high pressure will bring dry, cool conditions to Staten Island on Monday, with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and clear skies expected overnight.

According to the National Weather Service, residents can anticipate a pleasant early September day with minimal weather concerns.

The National Weather Service forecast indicates temperatures will remain slightly below normal, with daytime highs reaching the mid to upper 70s. Winds will be light and variable in the morning, shifting to a light easterly direction later in the day.

A weak easterly flow will develop as a low-pressure system passes well south and east of the area, bringing some high clouds during the day but clearing completely by night.
