A father and son were found dead inside their Pleasant Hills home early Monday morning after reports of gunshots, officials said.

Allegheny County dispatch was notified of a shooting on the 400 block of Nantucket Drive shortly before 7:30 a.m.

First responders could not make entrance to the home and requested the assistance of county SWAT, which entered the home around 9:30 a.m., according to the Allegheny County Police Department.

Inside, the father and adult son — neither of whom have yet been named — were found dead of gunshot wounds.

County police said there is no public threat and everyone involved in the incident has been identified.
