Erik Markov, who was fresh off earning his IFBB Pro card, has tragically passed away. News of his unexpected passing was made public by sources at RxMuscle — Truth in Bodybuilding on August 31, 2025. Currently, the cause of death has not been revealed.

Markov found his footing in the incredibly competitive Classic Physique division. His potential was evident as soon as he hit the stage as an amateur, thanks to his conditioning levels, v-taper, and narrow waist. Markov lived and trained in Spain and was known in local circles for his dedication to bodybuilding , from strict dieting to consistent training sessions.
