IMANE KHELIF has appealed her World Boxing ban.
The Olympic champion has been banned from competing in the women's category until she undergoes sex testing.
Khelif has appealed that decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS], also requesting she is made eligible to participate in the 2025 World Boxing Championships.
CAS have already rejected an appeal to suspend World Boxing's ban until the case is heard.
That means Khelif will be unable to feature at the World Boxing Championships, which takes place from September 4 to 15.
The Paris gold medalist missed the Boxing World Cup this year and has not competed since the summer games.
The ban was issued after a leaked medical report claimed Khelif is a "biological male".
