Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has told his players not to participate in the NFL season ceremony after the team's Super Bowl victory.
There will be a ceremony for the reigning champion Eagles before Thursday's season-opening game against the Dallas Cowboys .
The Eagles are coming off a dominant Super Bowl 59 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs back in February.
So on Thursday night, the Eagles will be raising a Super Bowl championship banner ahead of their home divisional matchup.
However, Sirianni revealed that he and his players will not watch the banner unveiling for the season opener.
"I didn't know it was banner night. We won't be out for that," Sirianni told reporters during a press conference on Tuesday.
