ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions already had a tall task ahead, opening the regular season on the road against the Green Bay Packers.
And then the Packers went out and made a big-time addition, trading two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark to the Dallas Cowboys for superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons.
Parson’s missed last year’s Lions-Cowboys game in Dallas. The last time this offensive line played against him came in the infamous eligible reporting game, with Parsons notching six tackles, including two for loss and one quarterback hit.
This is also Jeff Hafley’s second season as Packers defensive coordinator, so the Lions have already prepared for his defenses twice heading into the season opener.
