The Frontenac detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police investigated a one-car traffic accident that killed a motorist on Westport Road on Friday, Aug. 29.

According to the OPP, a car driven by a 70-year-old man left the roadway and struck a rock cut.

The driver was the lone occupant of the car.

Frontenac paramedics and fire and rescue responded to the scene along with the OPP and the motorist was pronounced dead.
