Jerome Larue Jr. is no stranger to college interest, picking up an offer from Virginia Tech before he even played a varsity snap.

The sophomore Bishop McDevitt running back’s recruitment continues to surge in his second season, and on Monday, he picked up another opportunity, this time from the SEC power University of Tennessee.

“Offered,” Larue tweeted.

Larue Jr. ranks as a 3-star recruit on Rivals.com, and currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Indiana, Marshall, Pitt, Syracuse Virginia and Virginia Tech.

The sophomore has 22 rushing yards and three receptions in two games this year. Last year as a freshman for the state-champion Crusaders rushed for 288 yards and four touchdowns, tallied 53 yards receiving and returned 13 kicks, scoring an 86-yard touchdown.
