Phoenix's Love Your Block Program provides $40k funding in 2025

Eight neighborhood groups in Phoenix are receiving grant funding from the city, most for projects emphasizing water conservation.

Phoenix announced last week in a news release there will be eight recipients for the 2025 Lock Your Block Grant Program. Each neighborhood group will receive up to $5,000 in funding to complete their projects by early 2026, totaling $40,000 in funding for the program this year.

The Love Your Block Grant Program supports neighborhood-led projects that beautify communities, build civic engagement and promote environmental sustainability. This year, seven of the eight winning proposals include a water conservation component, reflecting the community’s growing commitment to sustainability.
