A snap of heartthrob Jude Law in his forthcoming Vladimir Putin biopic has sparked unexpected comparisons to another, rather surprising screen icon. ‌

The Wizard of the Kremlin, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday, features Law taking on the role of the Russian president. However, Law's interpretation of Mad Vlad in the Hollywood production has drawn unlikely parallels to another screen favourite - one who's become a household name here through telly and major films. ‌
